Personality:
Eve is, in a word, NAIVE. She was created from another human and lived in a time before many other humans existed- she’s not used to conflict, emotions outside that of her own family, and the deeper nuances of society. Because she has little experience with other people, Eve is prone to JEALOUSY, such as Adam’s constant prattling on about how perfect Lillith was. To some extent, the jealousy extends to Lucifer’s obvious affections for Chloe, though she does hide it better at this point and directs the jealousy back at herself- thinking it’s something she’s not doing to keep his attention instead of blaming Chloe for it. (See: the long hours he spends ‘at work’ while they’re together, the gift mix-up. . . and later, after they’ve broken up, the closeness she sees between them when he’s starting to completely “devil out”. Eve never takes it out on Chloe- instead deciding to internalize the jealousy and attempt to change herself to be more like her.)

As the first Sinner, Eve is seen as REBELLIOUS and RECKLESS, going against God’s plan for her and giving into temptation. It’s through her time with Lucifer when she was first on the planet that she believes he’s freed her- shown her who she can really be. In most of her relationships, Eve is extremely CO-DEPENDANT. She needs constant affirmation and goes out of her way to mold herself into the best version she can to compliment the object of her affection. With Adam, she tried to be the perfect wife. With Lucifer, she tried to be the perfect party-girl, hedonistic, girlfriend. To an extent, the little she spoke of Cain and Abel when Amenadiel questioned her, was simply her giving the answer she expected the angel wanted to hear.

Not all of what she was projecting is far from who she really is, however. Sure, Eve spent all her time in Heaven getting bored of eternal paradise and growing more and more resentful of Adam to the point where she sought a way to escape- and much of that may be because of her romanticised dream of reuniting with Lucifer and living an exciting and unpredictable life. But the fact of that is she had those fantasies before she was reunited with him, meaning some of that is who she truly is.

Eager to live her life in the way she wants to, Eve doesn’t see the harm in giving into more hedonistic behaviors. She didn’t really get a say the first time she was on Earth, so she wants to live this second chance she’s taken to the fullest. She wants to get into bar fights, bust some balls, have crazy sex parties with Lucifer, punish those who are the worst of the worst... you know, all the normal things one does on Earth.

All of that being said, Eve lives as genuinely as she can- often not realizing that she’s changing herself to compliment someone else and seek their love and approval. As seen when she sees Lucifer’s ‘devil face’, she’s accepting and compassionate, telling him he’s perfect the way he is. She’s spent so much of her life trying to change herself for others, she doesn’t want him to have to do the same- even as she doesn’t realize that he’s maturing and changing from the devil she knew. Part of her being unapologetically genuine and sincere, she’s a constant hype-girl for the other characters (especially the women) in the show. She’s constantly complimenting them and affirming how amazing and smart they are. Sometimes going as far as trying to emulate them in an attempt to connect with them or for others, namely Lucifer, to see her as more than just Eve.

Though she can be awkward and have a hard time expressing her emotions (especially those that are typically seen as more negative, or even standing up for herself), Eve is extremely intelligent, as shown by her having some knowledge of psychology when she and Linda commiserate over Lucifer, or when she picks up on detective work exceptionally fast while trying to be more like Chloe. Unfortunately, her emotional intelligence isn’t as developed and she’s more than willing to ignore what she doesn’t want to hear (see: hearing only that she was Lucifer’s “first love” when told of the prophecy) or be completely single-minded (see: her being OBLIVIOUS of Maze’s affections for her when she’s trying to make Lucifer jealous to “win” him back). Her fight or flight in regards to negative emotions, unfortunately, is almost always flight. She’ll go out of her way to avoid them or try to change the subject to something more favorable.

Powers and Abilities: Eve, despite returning to Earth from Heaven, has no powers or abilities to speak of. The only reason she was able to return to her body was because she was literally made by the hand of God.
